PS2 Movie Story:
Chola Nadu Prince Arunmoji tries to kill Varman to take over the kingdom. Vallavarayan (Karthi) takes the responsibility of protecting the prince. Everyone thinks that Arunmoji (Jayam Ravi) died in a battle with rivals at sea. Then what did Aditya Karikalan (Vikram) do to avenge the death of Arunmoji? Why did Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) hold a grudge against the original Cholas? Why does she want to kill Aditya Karikala and destroy Cholanadu? It is clear from the picture.
PS2 Movie Actors Performance:
Ponniyin Selvan 2Part 2 stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Shobitha Dhulipala in pivotal roles. Everyone has done justice to their roles. No role is disappointing. The scene between Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) and Karikalan (Vikram) is the highlight of the movie. As always Chiyan Vikram was impressed with his performance.
Karthi and Aishwarya Rai also seemed to be at a loss. Director Mani Ratnam has captured every frame beautifully. Above all the music and background score given by AR Rahman is very good. The film does not have many high points but it is engaging. Ravi Varma's cinematography, CG work, visuals, and screenplay are amazing.

PS 2 |
Part 1 concluded with Arulmoji and Vallavarayan in danger and now a woman has come to save them. Chola Nadu thinks Arulmoji is dead. Ponniyin Selvan 2 shows the political situation in the kingdom after the death of the prince. The story went slow in part 1 but picked up in the second part. But it would have been nice to trim it a bit. Every frame in the second part is amazing. The Tamil audience is going crazy for this movie. It remains to be seen how much this movie will impress the audience of other languages.
